In a large pot over medium heat, saute garlic until fragrant. About 1 minute.
Add in the chopped broccoli, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Bring heat to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Let simmer for 10-20 minutes until broccoli is nice and tender.
While keeping on a low simmer, slowly start to add in your shredded cheese while stirring constantly.
Remove from heat once all cheese is melted, and serve!
