Low Carb Grilled Cheese

Who doesn't love a good grilled cheese? This american staple is hard to replace in a keto-friendly way, but don't worry. We have you covered! This delicious low carb grilled cheese is easy to make and can be eaten on the go. Perfect for lunch or a quick snack.

Ingredients

 3 tbsp almond flour
 2 tbsp buttermelted
 1 egg
 ½ tsp baking powder
 your choice of cheese/meats for inside the sandwich. we go for 2 slices of american cheese
 optional: seasonings for the bread mix. some suggestions are italian seasoning, taco seasoning, garlic powder, etc.

Directions

Place butter into microwave safe bowl and melt in microwave.

Add to bowl: almond flour, egg, baking powder, any optional seasoning, and then whisk together.

Pour mixture into sandwich shaped container (or just any square microwave safe container) and cook in the microwave for 90 seconds. Remove from microwave and allow to cool for 30 seconds.

Slice piece of bread in half, leaving you with 2 full slices of bread.

Treat it as a normal grilled cheese from here! Put butter on the outside of each slice of bread, and stuff with your preferred cheese/meat then stick into a skillet until each side is crisp.
